Airborne pigeon pair
Two pigeons captured in mid flight poised in a moment of movement- like the symbolic pairing of doves or cranes in traditional art except these are my beloved pigeons not filthy or loathsome but soaring luminescent and beautiful. The pigeons appear 3D as they are painted onto artists card canvas raised a few mm from the natural grain canvas they are affixed to giving them emphasis and adding impact to the piece.

Summer's last horrah!
This summer has been beautiful at Greenwich market and my fellow artists in the Artists' Quarter and I have slogged through the sunny weekends relaxing and chatting to each other and our customers about art. It looks like this weekend might be our last sunny one for some time so please come down and enjoy the atmosphere of the market in the summer sun on Sunday I will be showing new work which i am excited to say is some of my best. I plan to be at the market every Sunday for the foreseeable future so if you miss the last summery Sunday do not fret! went to a weird art event last night... Richard Wiseman and a talking mongoose called Gef...
lets hope for a sunny day today and tomorrow so the paint dries on my new piece, it would be lovely to show it at the market this sunday...
just completed a piece featuring a passenger pigeon so sad that I will never see one. what species shall we wipe out next?
travellust has overtaken me today I feel homesick for the constant challenges and surprises of adventure. I have to go back to India soon...
